It all begins with an idea. Or maybe a request from a neighbor. In the fall of 2017, our home-schooling neighbor asked in our community Facebook page if anyone knew of a place for her daughter to attend art classes. Having gone to college for Fine Arts and having very fond memories of art classes in elementary through high school, I offered to do the classes for her. Within a few months, I had many more inquiries and launched early December with a holiday salt dough ornament decorating workshop. Within a few months, I had multiple group classes a week for home school children. Shortly after, we expanded to offer weekend classes for children in public school that wanted more art than they were getting in school.
